Choose the class best suited for your level of fitness and experience

Pilates Foundations Course
This is a 5 week course designed to teach and deepen your understanding of the Pilates method. Each week will build on the foundation of the previous week. These classes are suitable for those with or without any Pilates experience. Classes will involve learning the basic Pilates mat exercises and an introduction to the reformer and small apparatus. These courses are run at various times throughout the year.

Beginners and Beyond
Beginners classes are suitable for you if you have had some basic instruction in Pilates method from previous experience, via a Pilates Foundations Course, an introductory package or with your Physio following recovery from injury or pain.

Any Ability
Here we will build on the fundamental beginners Pilates exercises and will help you to further improve your postural control, breath awareness, strength, flexibility and balance. That being said, our Pilates Instructors will give options for these classes so that those people who have more experience can be continuously challenged.

Intermediate Ability
These classes will require you to work deeper with more intensity into increasingly more challenging Pilates repertoire. It is probably fair to say that you should have had regular Pilates practice and a reasonable degree of strength before attempting these advanced level classes.

Over 60's Reformer
This is a small class for people who may require some modifications as they exercise. If you need to improve flexibility, balance, strength, muscle tone and confidence this is the class for you. It's also a great option for people who are recovered from surgery such as joint replacement and are needing to get back into exercise safely.

Pilates for Runners
Specifically tailored for recreational or professional runners. Using Reformers, matwork and other small equipment, exercises are designed to help improve flexibility, endurance and technique. A great way to condition muscles in order to prevent injuries and improve running performance. These classes are instructed by a Physiotherapist and run at various times throughout the year.

Bump to Baby Pilates
Our From Bump to Baby classes are designed to support you through both pregnancy and the postnatal period, with a focus on safe, effective, and evidence-informed exercise.
For our postnatal clients, sessions will help you recover safely following pregnancy and birth, while our prenatal participants are guided through appropriate exercises to support the changing demands of pregnancy.
Postnatal clients are required to have clearance for exercise from their obstetrician or GP at their 6-week check-up prior to commencing classes.
If you have had a Caesarean section, it is generally recommended to allow additional healing time (usually around 10–12 weeks), unless otherwise advised by your healthcare provider.
More about Bump to Baby Pilates
Classes run during school terms throughout the year in 9-week blocks, held Wednesdays at 10:15am.
These sessions aim to:
- Improve pelvic floor function and core control
- Support strength, mobility, and posture
- Reduce common aches and pains (neck, shoulders, and lower back)
- Promote safe return to exercise during and after pregnancy
Bringing your baby along (postnatally) also provides a relaxed and social environment to connect with other mums in the community.
Babies in Class
Babies are absolutely welcome in our postnatal classes. However, as we use reformer equipment, we are unable to safely accommodate mobile babies or toddlers. These classes are best suited to babies who are not yet crawling or highly mobile.
Getting Started
We recommend completing an initial assessment with a Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist prior to commencing, if you:
- Are currently pregnant and new to exercise
- Have any injuries or underlying conditions
- Have significant abdominal separation
- Are recovering from a Caesarean birth
This assessment ensures exercises can be appropriately tailored to your needs and may be claimable through private health funds.
Private Health & Rebates
As classes may not be conducted by a Physiotherapist and clinical notes are not maintained, these group sessions are not eligible for private health rebates.
If you are seeking a rebate, or require more individualised support, we recommend booking 1:1 Pilates sessions.
